NV719 & NV717 & NV720 – The Steel Cutting Ceremony of ZEETUGs (Zero Emission Electric Tugboat) for GISAS A.S.
Early 2020, NAVTEK delivered the world's first rechargeable and all electric tugboat ZEETUG30 to GİSAŞ Gemi İnşa Sanayi A.Ş.
ZEETUG30 has performed excellent operations, subsequently 3 more orders have been signed and the Steel Cutting Ceremony was held recently. (2 x ZEETUG30, 1 x ZEETUG45)
Mr. Murat Kıran (President of Turkish Shipbuilders' Association – GISBIR), Mr. GİSAŞ Chairman of the Board of Directors, GİSAŞ Board Members, GİSAŞ team and ERKAL team were among the attendees to the ceremony.
Our painful loss, Mr. Fatih Dönmez (Technical Manager of NAVTEK) was commemorated at the ceremony and ships were named Fatih Dönmez.
